FAQ: Do You Offer Care For More Than Dogs & Cats?
Answer: We Sure Do!
YPCC is proud to offer pet sitting services for dogs, cats, bunnies, small animals, birds, reptiles, and even your backyard chicken coop! We would be happy to help with all of your pet care needs. Whether it's a pup named Sadie, or Mr. Squeakers the hedgehog, we have you covered!
*We are proud to provide care services for a variety for household pets, excepting only in farm care (chicken coops always welcome!).
FAQ: Do You Offer Pet Boarding?
Answer: In-Sitter-Home Pet Care (AKA Pet Boarding) Isn’t Legal In NC. We’d Be Thrilled To Help Out With In-Your-Home Care Though!
Yup, you did read that correctly. And yes, sadly many well meaning individuals still offer it. However, we caution that these hobbyists also aren’t legally able to obtain any form of care insurance. Why is this important? Because, in the event of an accident, the hobbyist is unable to offer you or your pet any kind of financial help or protection.
Remove the “what-if” from your pet’s care by hiring a professional sitter.

FAQ: Do You Offer Grooming Services?
Answer: We Offer Pet Nail Trims, Baths & Coat Brushing, Just Not Coat Cuts.
YPCC offers both stand-alone, or recurring, essential grooming care for your pet, all in the comfort of home! Let us help freshen up your fur-baby before you return home from vacation, or book us on a recurring basis to help keep your poet happy & healthy year-round!

FAQ: Do You Offer As-Needed Dog Walks?
Answer: We'd Be Happy To! We offer care services both as you need them, and at a discounted rate (save $1/visit, per pup) for clients who need annual M-F services.
We know that schedules can change, and we’re here to help. Whether you’re booking week-to-week, or annually, YPCC has care services to fit your busy schedule.
FAQ: How Many Pet Sitting Visits Should I Schedule?
Answer: To help ensure the health and safety of your pet while you’re away, YPCC asks for a minimum of:
- One visit daily for all cats, small animals, birds, and reptiles.
- Two visits daily for all dogs. Many of our clientele use, and YPCC highly encourages, at least 3 pet sitting visits daily for dog households. This allows us to provide your pet with breakfast, a good afternoon potty break, and dinner.
Additional care visits (Ex. 3-4 visits daily) may be required based on any pre-existing medical or health conditions your pet has. This can include, but isn't limited to, pets with a prior history of seizures or geriatric pets with mobility limitations.
FAQ: How Soon Do I Need To Book My Pet’s Care Services? Are Last-Minute Requests Ok?

Weekday Care (M-F): Book By Fridays Of Each Week, Or Set Up Recurring Care
Vacation Care: Book 1+ Weeks In Advance / Holiday Care: Book 3+ Weeks In Advance
Overnight Care: Book 4+ Weeks In Advance / Holiday Overnight Care: Book 6+ Weeks In Advance
We know that “oops!” happens sometimes too. Once you're an established client with us, we are always happy to help accommodate any reasonable last-minute requests as our schedule allows as well. We are proud to boast flexibility of scheduling, and are generally able to fulfill any last-minute requests that are submitted through our client portal.
FAQ: Do You Offer Specific Visit Times?
Answer: We Offer Visit Windows, So As To Best Provide Quality Care Around The Clock!
YPCC offers quality care between the hours of 7AM–7PM, as well as in-home overnight care for your furry family members. Our daytime services are divided into time blocks so as to best meet your pet's schedule, and to provide quality and well-rounded care for all of our clients.
We are pleased to provide care within the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening time blocks, as well as an Overnight time block for our overnight pet care services.
We are always happy to aim towards specific visit times, and do our utmost to schedule your pet's visits evenly throughout the day. Bookings that require specific exact times due to medical necessity may require our overnight care services in order to ensure that those exact medication times can be met. Whatever your care needs may be, we can't wait to see your fur-baby soon!
FAQ: Do Multiple People Come Out For Care, Or Just One Sitter?
Answer: One Of YPCC’s Paw-some Perks? We Have Backup Sitters!
To ensure your pet’s care is always met, your pet may see 1-2 of our sitters per pet sitting stay. This allows us to provide backup care in case of emergency, and to allow our employees time off as needed.
For any overnight pet care, unless 2+ weeks in duration, YPCC strives to ensure that you pet will have the same overnight care specialist each night. We can’t wait for all the cuddle time!

FAQ: My Pet Is Big..Like, Really BIG! Do You Have A Sitter That Can Handle Them?
Answer: We’ve got you! We’re experienced with larger pets, and routinely handle 150lbs+ animals.

FAQ: My Pet Doesn’t Get Along With Male/Female Sitters. Can You Help?
Answer: Yes, we’re happy to help ensure that your pet is cared for by a specific gender if they have any aversions.
We completely understand, and want to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible. We’re happy to help ensure that your pet is cared for by a male / female identifying care specialist if they have any aversions that may affect their temperament. FAQ: My Pet’s Not Used To Being Alone. Can You Provide 24/7 Care?
Answer: YPCC Offers Extended Daytime Care At An Hourly Rate, As Well As Overnight Pet Care Services, and would be delighted to help tailor care to meet you and your pet’s care needs.
YPCC is pleased to provide a variety of pet care services ranging from pet sitting visits & dog walks, to overnight care services. We are always happy to help tailor care to you and your pet's needs, and can often accommodate up to four visits daily, ranging from 15min-3hrs in length, so as to ensure that quality time with your pet is met throughout the day. We can't wait for all the quality time with your fur-fam!
